Trade-Wind® units can be controlled from the buttons on the unit, or remotely using the provided controller. Each unit is equipped with at least two, easily replaceable, LED lights. Units 48” wide and larger will have Three. All units come with removable, dishwasher-safe baffle filters for convenient maintenance.

Vent-A-Hood® units operate between 1 to 6.5 sones for 300 to 600 CFM models and 4 to 6.6 sones for 900 to 1200 CFM models. With this, you will either have one blower that delivers 300 CFM with a 6-inch duct and one blower that delivers 600 CFM with an 8-inch duct, or two 8-inch ducts that each deliver varying CFMS. You can choose to run two duct lines, one for each blower, or you can purchase an attachment from Vent-A-Hood® that will convert the dual-blower to either a 10 or 12-inch duct. Both elegant and powerful, ZLINE units are available in 400 or 700 CFM. Noise output ranges from 6 to 7 sones on the highest setting. For reference, 6 sones is perceived as a restaurant setting, while 7 sones is perceived as light traffic noise.

The corresponding duct sizes are 6" and 8", respectively. It’s important to note that ZLINE models will come with a square damper. If you purchase your ZLINE ventilation unit from Hoodsly, we will supply a convertor piece to make the duct opening circular.

Zephyr units are available in 600, 700, or a powerful 1200 CFM. Zephyr units operate between 1 to 6 sones for 600 to 700 CFM models and 3.5 to 9 sones for 1200 CFM models. To put it in perspective, 1 sone is equivalent to a refrigerator hum, 6 sones compare to restaurant noise levels, and 9 sones compare to moderate traffic sounds.

The corresponding duct sizes are 8" and 10", respectively. Zephyr units can also provide recirculating capabilities with the purchase of a recirculating kit. Charcoal and grease filters help trap smoke, grease, and odors at the source and recirculate air, no ducting required.

Experience enhanced control with Zephyr's Airflow Control Technology, allowing you to adjust CFM levels to meet makeup air requirements. For example, a 600 CFM unit can be lowered to 290 or 390 CFM to accommodate for make-up air requirements. Keep in mind that once the CFM has been lowered, it cannot be raised.
