In this video, we’ll walk you through how to install a range hood insert motor into a wooden range hood. Before purchasing an insert motor, or a range hood shell, it’s vital that you have proper measurements of the kitchen space above the range. It is also highly recommended to retrieve measurements of any insert motor you plan to use, to ensure that it will be a nice fit into the wooden range hood (or custom cabinetry) you plan on using.
